(with a good Pair of French Stones, and all the Going Gears, Scales, Weights, Utensils, and Implements belonging to the said Mill,
all in very good Condition;)
likewise a very good Horse Boulting-Mill:
And also a convenient Messuage or Tenement, consisting of three Rooms on a Floor, with a Stable and other Outhouses,
adjoining and belonging to the said Mill; all Freehold. and in good Repair, and now in the Occupation of Abraham Grigson.

Bocking Post Mill: Dating from 1721, the mill was auctioned in December 1829, moved up the hill from
near the bakehouse, and re-erected here in 1830. It worked commercially until c1924 and to special order
until c1930. The last miller was Henry Hawkins. The mill is owned and maintained by Braintree District Council.
